Love their sandwiches! The atmosphere is great, they have a mini bonfire outdoor sitting which I love. It does get packed during school term tho. The drinks are ok.

Absolutely blown away by my visit to Great Dane Coffee — the immaculate vibes and “The Jeremy” sandwich? A masterpiece of flavor. But the true star was Mackenzie, her energy and effort made this a place worth returning. Great Dane has just earned a new customer.

I came here for the first time today and it is now my favourite coffee shop in the whole world!!! If you are looking to try a SANDWICH from here, get the JEREMY! It completely exceeded my expectations. For DRINKS, I tried the MACCHIATO and LATTE (The blessed me with a free macchiato on the house!). Both were awesome. I normally don't write reviews but I genuinely cannot stress how much I enjoyed this place from their food, service to atmosphere. Please come! It is definitely worth your time and money :)

This beautiful cafe is highly suggested if you ever decide to staycation or study at UBC. It is a pet-friendly cafe and offers quality products of fresh sandwiches, espressos, delicious homemade pastries [ with options of gluten-free], and spacious atmosphere with an outdoor fireplace! The staff were so welcoming, friendly, and excellent counter-costumer service. Their business hours may not meet your needs nor expectations but they'll be opening early and close late once school starts in September.

Amazing baked goods! I am very impressed that the vegan and GF muffins are large, have good texture, and lots of flavours to choose from Also, even my cat seems to like the scones.

Great Dane Coffee is a relatively small cafe located within UBC grounds. The indoor seating is quite limited and cramped but there is also limited outdoor seating. The staff taking orders at the front counter was very nice and was even able to tell us where they sourced their almond croissant form. We got their recommended seasonal lavender chai latte and their chai is very good, powdered, but with deep flavour. We got our drink to go as there was limited room to move around once the cafe was packed.

What a fun and marvelous coffee shop that makes one smile ! I appreciate the care they have taken into making this place pet-friendly. I don't have a dog but bring my adventure cat in when it's not too busy with big dogs. Great coffee, friendly staff, comfy seating outside, what's not to love? A great place to stop by near the UBC campus! The sandwich is absolutely delicious and one of the best I’ve had. The environment is nice with both outdoor patio seats and indoor seats. Seems like they offer a nice variety of unique sandwiches, highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to grab food!
